Title:                     Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Reports to:            Sr. Director – Human Resources Business Partner

Location:              New York, New York

 

Overview:             This role is responsible for helping to drive the people agenda for the Information Technology corporate group. In addition, work in a project management capacity in key areas within the Human Resources organization. Individual will be expected to be a change agent and ensure that people strategy aligns with the needs of the business.  They will also be expected to be a collaborative partner with the rest of the HR organization and act as a link to the business and associates.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

Assist Sr. Director with crafting and driving the people agenda for the assigned business units or organization; main areas of focus are Organization Design, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management & Development, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), and Change Management
Lead from a project management perspective key HR initiatives being created and implemented in the business (Workday)
Strategically consult on people issues and partner with leaders to be forward thinking about people implications of business decisions
Coach and develop business partner leaders
Assist Sr. Director with annual plans and budgets, optimizing staff headcount and overhead costs
Ensure effectiveness of HR function by collaborating with Centers of Excellence (COEs) in Total Rewards, HR Technology, Talent Acquisition, DEI, Change Management, Associate Communications, and Associate Relations
Implement companywide HR programs, ensuring programs remain relevant in meeting business strategy and goals; provide feedback to HR COE partners on business needs
Champion the organizational values and culture
Ensure skill development and career planning for direct report
