Position Overview Are you someone who obsesses over customer’s problems? Do you thrive handling key accounts and being the go-to person when it comes to answering questions on products/services? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you seek to drive growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationship with new clients? Frontdoor is looking for a Business Development Manager to join the Frontdoor Sales team! In this role, you will generate new leads and be responsible for the entire sales cycle. You will identify, analyze and develop key business plans to go to market within a specific geography.
Responsibilities
Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives to target new customers, work with the marketing team to identify any gaps.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets, grow the business and other sales objectives and key results (OKRs) as identified
Be the “Ear to the ground” (Intelligence) in your respective market
Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events as needed.

Are a self-starter, can be transparent and can juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment.
Like getting both your hands dirty in day-to-day tasks and being able to take a step back to identify opportunities for improvement.
Are open to new ideas and continually look for new approaches in sales.
Are able to understand our core business, operations and effectively communicate our unique capabilities and the full value we provide.
Are a visible and vocal role model across the wider business for Frontdoor’s House Rules.
Qualifications
At least 8 years of experience in business development; retail, consumer services or technology
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred
Analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business plans;
Efficient in planning and reporting in and outside a CRM
Track record of influencing and driving change through diverse stakeholder groups remotely
Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries
Strong interpersonal skills and has experience with C-Suite or executive leadership
Belief in the value of participating in and contributing to a collaborative team environment
Ability to travel 50-75% of the time to designated geography
Ability to maintain valid driver’s license
