The Acquisitions and Renewals team is looking for a Sr. UX Designer to craft experiences that will improve the customer experience and contribute to high-visibility programs that will product designed used by millions of people. This role is the design lead for all Acquisitions and Renewals user experience and will work with a team of UX partners to innovate on behalf of customers.

We are looking for a highly-determined, highly-curious, self-driven, and experienced Sr. UX Designer to lead our design strategy. This person will work collaboratively across product managers, engineers, executive leadership, and a team of UX designers to improve how customers interact with American Home Shield and other solutions offered by FrontDoor. As a Sr. UX Designer, you will drive UX design from early-stage concepts all the way through to final delivery and launch. Candidates should be collaborative, strong communicators, flexible, and able to multi-task across projects.

Responsibilities

Create intuitive user experiences that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Lead the UX from planning and strategy through to execution and going life, with a health balance between thinking big and diving deep.
Manages the UX work queue taking on your own work and delegating to the other UX designers, while proactively engaging stakeholders directly regarding requirements definition and deadlines.
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups and detailed UI and visual design specifications for web, mobile web and app interfaces.
Promote user testing and working customer backwards by working with research partners and be willing to conduct scrappy user testing on your own, if required.
Contribute to user interface design guidelines and development best practices and standards at FrontDoor.
Mentor up to four UX designers who will be working within your team.

Qualifications

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in UX design tools with the ability to generate interactive prototypes in HTML, JavaScript, & CSS or with tools such as Figma, Sketch and Invision.
A proven track record of iterative design, working closely with product and engineering to refine UX work.
Expert in design best practices across mobile, web, and platforms.
Ability to drive the design cycle end to end, closing out requirements and managing independently.
Act as an owner, having a bias for action in a sometimes-ambiguous environment.
Ability to take customer problems and translate them into fantastic user solutions.

The incoming salary for this role is $129,000 for the minimum level of experience outlined in the requirements for this role; however, the salary we ultimately offer will typically increase commensurate with experience.
