If so, our Data Engineering team is looking for highly motivated, detail-oriented, technical savvy, energetic developers who like to think outside the box and want to work in a team with many exciting responsibilities which include contributing towards high quality, large scale and resilient distributed systems to power data pipelines, data science platform and analytics platform.

Responsibilities

Ingest, organize and analyze data in Data Lake/Delta Lake.
Acquire and combine raw data/ information from different sources to conduct complex large scale data analysis and report on results.
Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling to help data science team in feature engineering.
Build reproducible, scalable and reliable real-time/streaming data pipelines.
Build reproducible, scalable and reliable batch data pipelines.
Unify batch & real-time/streaming data from various sources.
Evaluate business needs and objectives.
Interpret trends and patterns.
Build algorithms and prototypes.
Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
Identify opportunities for data acquisition.
Contribute to our Big Data Warehousing platform initiatives.
Contribute to our Analytical platform and data science platform initiatives.
Responsible to acquire, manage, maintain and own various data assets of the organization.
Collaborate with data scientists & ML engineers on several projects.
Closely work and enable Data warehousing team to help them in report generation and Dashboards etc…
Work in complex projects with multiple team members in Agile fashion.

Qualifications

5+ years of recent experience in data engineering.
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Strong SQL knowledge
Exposure and experience with relational, NoSQL and Cloud based databases/datastores. Exposure and experience with Snowflake, Elasticsearch, MongoDB is an added advantage
Excellent hands-on coding skills on programming languages, such as Python and Scala
Experience in building scalable, robust data pipeline using Apache Airflow, Apache Nifi or similar technologies
Demonstrable experience with large scale batch processing systems based on Spark, Spark-SQL, Hadoop or similar allied technologies
Demonstrable experience building large scale stream processing solutions based on Kafka, Spark Streaming or similar technologies
Experience building and managing Data lakes, Big Data warehouse.
Knowledge of data cleaning, wrangling, visualization and reporting, with an understanding of the best, most efficient use of associated tools and applications to complete these tasks
Willingness to explore new alternatives or options to solve complex data ingestion/mining issues, and utilize a combination of industry best practices, data innovations and your experience to get the job done
Knowledge of GitLab, & CI/CD processes
Integrating ML Models to Data pipelines is an added advantage
Experience working in public cloud environments like AWS, GCP is an added advantage
Exposure in creating RESTful services and knowledge of containers like Docker, Kubernetes is an added advantage
